Alzheimer's and Creatine

A review of the article by Smith et al., published on May 19, 2025 in Alzheimer's Dement. The article uses a small trial to look at the feasibility of using creatine supplementation on seniors with Alzheimer's to improve cognition using several tests such as "dimensional change card sort", "picture vocabulary", and "pattern comparison". Although this study only used 19 participants, the results are promising and indicate that further study is warranted into creatine supplementation.
